Entry Level Sales - Full Time Position
Fore! Reservations, the leading provider of golf course management and marketing software, is currently seeking a motivated, goal oriented, golf enthusiast for a full time position with our Sales Team. The successful candidate will spend the next year learning our products and sales process while generating leads for our Sales Account Managers. They will then transition to an independent sales position with their own territory within 12 to 18 months.
The applicant will use their motivation and enthusiasm to call every golf course in their territory and help generate sales leads. The ability to communicate with potential customers over the telephone will be imperative to success, as our most successful sales personnel make between 150 and 250 calls per day. Customer Support and Installation Representative - Full Time Position
Fore! Reservations is the industry leader in developing, installing, training and supporting golf shop software with over 1,700 customers across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The software suite of integrated products includes a tee time reservation system, point of sale, Internet reservations booking module, email marketing system and websites for golf courses.
Description:
Our close-knit company is looking to add a team member who is technically proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products, is passionate about helping people, enjoys travel, and has a knowledge and/or love for the game of golf. The main responsibility for the Customer Support and Installation Representative is to provide telephone technical support and troubleshooting advice to its customers. Applicant must enjoy technical problem solving, have a strong work ethic, and be enthusiastic to learn all aspects of our software product and the industry.
The main avenue for growth within the company is to develop into a Certified Installer and Trainer where travel to golf courses across the United States will be required.
Requirements:
Database and golf industry knowledge is helpful, though not required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education experience required. Strong computer and organizations skills are essential. A patient and understanding attitude, willingness to learn, and excellent customer relation skills are a must. This position is located at the company's headquarters in Burr Ridge, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago. Residency within commuting distance is required.
Compensation:
