Green Fee Colors
A tool is included to change the colors that appear on the schedule representing green fee sales. This tool allows both management and cashiers to quickly look at the schedule and identify what green fees have been sold.
The colors you select for each green fee depends on the meaning you give each color. For example, a course offering some 9 hole play may want to identify all 9 hole green fees using the same color so that the cashier can quickly identify which 9 hole customers are almost finished with their rounds.
This allows the cashier to maximize utilization of the course by sending additional 9 hole green fees off the back when one 9 hole green fee customer finishes. At a different course, management may want fees colored by customer type, such as resident fees one color, non-resident fees another and a third color for members. Some courses color all complimentary fees the same color. Fee distribution can be quickly determined with just a glance.
1) Log into Fore! Reservations.
2) View | Fore! Sell.
3) File | Setup | Sales Items.
4) In the Sheet view, search for the green fee to color.
5) Click on the green fee to be colored and click on the Detail tab.
6) In the lower left corner, click on the Fee Color button, if the Fee Color button is not enabled, the item is not a green fee.
7) Select the color of the green fee from the color palette and then click the OK button.
8) Click the OK button on the Detail view.
9) At the Sheet view, repeat steps 4) - 8) above to modify the color of another fee.

11) Close Fore! Sell by going to File | Exit.
12) Close Fore! Reservations by going to File | Exit and restart it for the changes to take affect. Once a green fee is sold, the system paints the customer cell in the defined color. For any green fee not assigned a color, the default color is green and is displayed on the schedule.
