4Tools provides several functions outside of Fore! Reservations.
Clear Server Path
Select this option to erase the current database path. The next time you open Fore! Reservations, it will prompt you to connect to a database.
Reset Password
In case you forget the password, this options lets you reset the password for a user marked as Admin in Fore! Reservations.
Enter your Course ID, the password from Fore! Reservations Customer Support in Password 1 field, and the password e-mailed to you in the Password 2 field.
You can then select an admin user and enter a new password.
Restore EFS Keys
If the EFS Certificate needs to be restored, this option allows for this recovery to happen. Enter your Course ID, the password e-mailed to you in Password 1 field, and the password from Fore! Reservations Customer Support in the Password 2 field.
Upload Event File
This option automatically exports the event log to a text file and then uploads it to Fore! Reservations Customer Support securely via HTTPS. You can export all entries in the event log or you can export only Fore! Reservations events.
Upload File
Selecting this option allows any file to be uploaded to Fore! Reservations Customer Support securely using HTTPS. Uploading customer import files to Fore! Reservations Customer Support using this method is more secure then sending attachments via e-mail.
Download File
This option allows you to download a file from Fore! Reservations Customer Support securely using HTTPS. This may include formatted customer import files or database patches. Downloading formatted customer import files from Fore! Reservation Customer Suppor using this method is more secure then
sending attachments via e-mail. For two-factor authentication, Fore! Reservations will give you half the password over the phone (put in password1 field) and the other half will be sent in an e-mail (put in password2 field).
Shred Old Files
To securely get rid of unwanted files, this option allows you to permanently erase files off the hard drive.
