PAY LESS FOR PCI - FORE! RESERVATIONS ANNOUNCES EARLY INSTALLATION DISCOUNTED PRICING - No one likes the costs associated with PCI compliance, us included. To date, Fore! Reservations has spent over $350,000 in development costs creating a PCI compliant product at the direction of the credit card industry. In an effort to keep your unavoidable cost as inexpensive as possible we are offering discounted pricing for courses that install our 2010-11 certified version early. Early installations will help you prepare ahead of the credit card industry deadline and will help us avoid a "last-minute rush" and backlog of PCI upgrades. The earlier your facility pays for the PCI black box server, the lower price you'll pay.
To receive discounted pricing your facility must purchase a PCI black box server from Fore! Reservations by the deadlines listed below. The lowest price available of $1300 - a $700 savings! - is available to those facilities that pay by November 1, 2009. The price then increases $100 per month until June 1, 2010, at which point the cost will be $2000.

PATRIOT GOLF DAY CAPTURES SPIRIT OF LABOR DAY - This Labor Day weekend September 4th - 7th, the PGA is conducting a nationwide fundraising event; Patriot Golf Day. This event benefits the Folds of Honor Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships for children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving our country. Golfers at participating courses are asked to donate an extra $1 to their green fees to benefit the foundation. We'd like to extend our gratitude to all of the Fore! Reservations courses participating in this worthy cause. The event is a wonderful way to encourage golfers to come out and play over the holiday weekend and support a great foundation! BEWARE OF NON-SUPPORTED INTEGRATIONS INTO THE FORE! RESERVATIONS SOFTWARE - Recently Fore! Reservations has been made aware of companies writing integrations into the Fore! Reservations Support Team (630-789-9784) to make certain this is an authorized interface. DID YOU KNOW? - Did you know there are two different ways to split transactions in Fore! Reservations? If you are using either ETS or Mercury to process credit cards, in the payment screen you will see a button that says "Split". From there you can slide multiple credit cards to pay for the transaction. With the "Even Out" button you can easily split a check among multiple credit cards. For F&B facilities, you can hit the "Split" in the Tab Screen Interface and turn one check into many. This is great for the individual who just wants to pay for their portion of the meal while the rest of the group stays. To learn more about this functionality, you can watch a five minute video by clicking here.
