LATEST VERSION OF FORE! RESERVATIONS IS WINDOWS 7 COMPATIBLE - The latest version of Windows, Windows 7, is set to release on October 22nd. Thanks to the efforts of our Development Team you will be able to use Windows 7 with the latest version of Fore! Reservations. This new Windows platform has increased security features and has been better received in the market than Vista. If your facility plans to change to Windows 7, make sure you are using our latest version before switching operating systems. TEE TIME PRICING & CANCELLATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE - You asked and we listened! One of the most requested features deals with how Internet tee times are listed online. Golfers can now view tee time availability along with pricing when they book a reservation online. Visit www.watersedgegolf.com to view a booking page with pricing. Allowing your customers the ability to cancel a tee time reservation online is also available. Please note, this feature currently does not allow you to determine when cancellations are accepted (i.e. cancellations are not accepted within 24 hours of the tee time), but we are definitely working on it and will let you know as soon as that additional feature is available. MARKETING IDEA OF THE MONTH - HOST A GOLF MARATHON AT YOUR FACILITY - An eight course golf facility in China recently held a "golf marathon", and that got us thinking, what a great event this would be for any course to run. For a set rate, golfers play as many rounds as possible from sunrise to sunset. We've seen some courses already implement this idea as an exclusive fundraising tournament. Golfers get sponsored (like in a traditional marathon) and raise money for the selected charity based on how many holes they complete. It's definitely a great idea to consider that can generate revenue and goodwill!
