CANADIAN BLACK BOX PROGRAM - There has been a strong response to the new PCI credit card security program with many courses coming on board. This past month we had 16 additional courses approve installation of the new Black Box server, with quite a few more verbal approvals pending official sign off on paper work by accounting departments. Please remember that as of January 1, 2010 the price for the Black Box will increase by $400 from $1850 to $2250. Also, you must act fast to receive the $750 rebate from Mercury Payment Systems as the offer is limited to a budget set by Mercury. Offer Club Kiosk - This new kiosk feature enables courses to customize your touch screen message to any special offer that customers receive via e-mail after providing their contact information for your database. The Offer Club Kiosk is ideal to take with you to trade shows and can replace the traditional 'business card fishbowl offer drawing' in your golf shop.
Customer Category Bring Down - With this new feature you can now identify which customers are in your Birthday and Offer Clubs from your Fore! Reservations database. Simply name the categories on your Fore! Marketing Internet Dashboard webpage and they automatically carry down to your local database and mark customers with that category when they join a club.
Birthday Club Auto Enroll - For customers that missed your initial Birthday Club opt-in e-mail, with this new feature, customers with a birth date and e-mail in your Fore! Reservations database will automatically receive an e-mail asking them to join your Birthday Club as their birthday approaches.

Reservations is excited to announce that Scott Merchant, Director of Marketing, is a featured guest speaker at the New England Golf Course Owners Association Annual Meeting on November 4th at Brookmeadow Country Club (Canton, MA). Scott will be presenting on the importance of managing customer database information to improve a course's marketing efforts. Scott has also spoken at several PGM programs across the country.
