CANADIAN BLACK BOX PROGRAM INSTALLATION PERIOD EXTENSION - Dell has discontinued our last Black Box model to release a new model. This new model will of course be faster and more robust as is the constant case in computing. The changeover will mean that we will not be able to take delivery of computers for 3-4 weeks and as a result we have extended the installation period to match. If the black box is purchased before January 1st the pricing is $1850 when installed before February 1st. If purchased after January 1st for installation after February they will be $2250. Please note those choosing to install February 1st or later can purchase the black box by January 1st at a discounted $2050 rate and reserve an installation date for a later date. We highly recommend this option if you are choosing to wait until the spring to install as we imagine we will not have enough installer manpower to meet the demand at that time. Also as a reminder, the Mercury offer of a $750 rebate continues to be available until December 31. Clearly it is in everyone's best interest to move quickly.
A REMINDER REGARDING THIRD-PARTY AFFILIATES - Fore! Reservations has developed an interface for third-party Internet tee time distributors ("TTD") to access our customers tee times. We call this interface the "Affiliate Object". Any TTD getting the support of more than five of our customers can sign an Affiliate Object Agreement. Once the agreement is signed, we will gladly work with the TTD to complete the interface. When the interface is completed and properly tested, the TTD needs to get the Golf Course to sign an Affiliate Approval Form in order to have Fore! Reservations give them access to your tee time inventory. We currently have an Affiliate Object Agreement with several companies. Fore! Reservations, Inc. will not try to specifically promote any specific TTD. Every TTD should be judged on their own merits and not the merits of our interface. We have an interface because at least 5 of our customers requested one be written. Please remember that the decision to utilize a TTD is solely the decision of the golf course and is not endorsed one way or another by Fore! Reservations.
