Courses that currently use Fore! Internet for their online tee time booking page can upgrade to a new Beta interface that offers innovative features, increased functionality and easier navigation. Upgrading to the latest and greatest interface requires the 2010 or 2011 PCI Compliant Black Box Server Software version. Fore! Outing Beta Product Release
Fore! Reservations is excited to announce the release of its newest product, Fore! Outing. We are looking for courses interested in installing the Beta version right away. This new product is available to courses that have paid for Fore! Marketing and are on the 2010 or 2011 PCI Compliant Black Box Server Software version. Fore! Outing is designed to help golf courses better organize and execute outings with greater efficiency while fully integrating with the course's Fore! Reservations tee sheet and customer database. It was developed to serve as an effective outing customer data collection tool for the golf course. Fore! Outing has an online interface (for both the golf course operator and the outing coordinator) to upload player lists, manage player registration, create pairings, insert handicaps, send e-mails to participants before and after the event, assign starting holes, create scorecards and cart signs, and print player lists.

Constructive Discussions on Barter Continue
Recent conversations at trade shows and on the NGCOA and Fore! Reservations listservs have centered around the topic of bartering tee times with third-parties. Best Way to Book? Book by Phone
The next time you make a tee time reservation, you may want to consider booking by the customer's phone number. This is the quickest and most accurate way to make a reservation. If your golf shop staff books by the pull-down, this is certainly fast but you don't get the opportunity to add important customer fields like phone and e-mail. If your staff books by name, it can get confusing with multiple last names like Smith or difficult to pronounce names. Consider booking by phone to lessen the time it takes while maximizing data collection at the same time.

Did You Know? - Did you know if you're a 1-2-1 Marketing customer you can have an Unsubscribe E-mail Form on your website that integrates with Fore! Reservations? If a customer elects not to receive e-mails from your facility, he or she can enter their e-mail online and the Mailings Flag in Fore! Reservations is automatically unchecked.
