Important Information From Customer Support
Timeout Message in 2010/2011 Version – Due to PCI regulations, a user inactivity logout is required of all Admin users or any user with credit card security. So how do you avoid the timeout message? Some facilities found relief by creating a second user for managers with Admin rights (leave the Admin checkbox blank when creating the new user). Login as this new user (i.e. JSmith) when doing daily operation tasks, and as the original user (i.e. JSmithAdmin) when doing tasks that require Admin rights.
Magtek Swipe Not Responding – There are two possible causes for the Magtek swipe not responding at certain times. If the Magtek swipe loses claim after getting the user timeout message stated above, the best solution is to fix the issue as described. The other possible cause is an electromagnetic interference from a monitor or speakers. If you are occasionally having difficulty, try mounting the Magtek 6-12 inches away from the monitor. This solution has worked in several facilities having sporadic issues.
Fore! Internet Proper Overnight Procedure – Fore! Internet bookings are in full swing during the summer so it is vitally important that your facility receive bookings when your golf shop is closed.
