Internet Specials Calendar Enhancements
Fore! Internet 2011 comes with many new features and improved functionality, and this month's e-letter focuses on this exciting product release. The first new set of features are enhancements made to the Internet Specials Calendar. With this new functionality, you can setup multi-day specials all at once (i.e. Monday – Thursday, etc.) making it easier to activate the same offer across multiple days of the week. Also available is the option to expire a special ‘X’ number of days prior to the special's date. This feature automatically takes down the special as the date approaches, encouraging the golfer to book further in advance. The third enhancement is the Internet Special sales item bring-down, which defaults the correct green fee item into your shopping cart. This new feature helps expedite check-in at the counter and ensures Internet Specials are rang-in properly. New Internet Performance Reports Available Now
Fore! Internet 2011 also comes with enhanced reporting to help better track your course’s Internet reservation statistics for rounds booked through your website and through third-party (affiliate) sites. Are you interested in learning exactly how many rounds are booked through your website versus a third-party? Would you like to be able to track revenue per player based on the type of reservation? Or perhaps you want to know how many bartered tee times were filled by a third-party? This type of information is available in the new reports that are accessed through your Internet Dashboard under the Analytics section. These reports take very little time to run and will help you make online tee time pricing decisions that are in the best interest of your business. "Click Here For Rates" Option for your Webpage
For the last year, Fore! Internet has allowed you to post your course's rates online so customers can view the tee time price during the booking process. Now, Fore! Internet 2011 offers yet another option to display the correct price online. The “Click Here For Rates” feature takes the customer to your website's rates page, which helps eliminate possible "rate confusion" during tee time bookings and is great for courses with complex rate structures. MyNet Online Offers Multi-Course Functionality on the Web
MyNet Online allows customers to book an online tee time at other courses in your defined network if their original search was unsuccessful. This sequence is meant to mirror the scenario over the phone of "Since your course is booked, where else should I play in the area?" MyNet Online is an ideal booking feature to have on your website if your course is run by a management company or is part of a multi-course operation. Did you know you can take online tee times without credit cards for select Internet customer types? This is ideal for courses with members that have an Online Customer Profile and do not wish to enter a credit card online when making a tee time. This new Fore! “Tweet About your Tee Time” or “Forward to a Friend”, customers can now do exactly that when they book a tee time through your course’s website! Activate this new confirmation page feature to provide customers a convenient way to send tee time information to fellow players while also increasing your facility’s social media exposure.
